I’ve been called into a project, a little bit out of nowhere. It’s a strange feeling, being dropped into the middle of something that’s already started – takes a little bit to get your bearings. It’s eight vignettes for Nike and ESPNU on “The Opening” – Nike invites 150 of the best high school football players in the country out to Oregon, and they train and compete over five days. The footage looks great, just a matter of making heads or tails of it all by the end of the month. Working with a lot of old friends on this one, hopefully making a few new ones. Hopefully will have news on a longer term ESPN project shortly – stay tuned to this channel for further updates.
